My boyfriend and I are spending a long weekend in DC and I've started looking at some places to check out and wanted to see if anyone here had some great suggestions so I don't end up at an awful place. We live in Charlotte, NC and we only have one all vegan and very few vegan friendly places so I'm really excited to have many to choose from 
We'll be there for Valentine's Day so we're looking for a nice place to have dinner, we decided that we were going to make reservations at Equinox.... but then we found out they are still closed from a fire :_( so if there are any suggestions for that it would wonderful!
I'm not being lazy, I've actually looked at almost all of those AND written down ideas. Obviously I had already found one place to eat already... I'm looking for personal experiences with the restaurants here. Word of mouth is usually the best way to find places to eat and visit.
