hey/
i was looking at some old vcr videos of me and my friends from my old school & theyre really cute and i wanted to transfer them into a CD and post them across..
but how -
i dont have the camera they were recorded on anymore..
can u explain to me (if u can) in the most child friendly way how to do it? like.. i can guess you need some software or something, but i mean, how the heck do those fat old things get on the computer? do i have 2 attatch something to the VCR player or what?
i'm only 13, btw.
like, imagine explaining it to an IDIOT. i'm not that tech savy.
thankkkks -

you need a digital tv card with AV (audio/video) input sockets. if you have a laptop computer you'll need a usb device (hardware) with these sockets.

the hardware should come with programs that lets you record. hook the vcr up to the card/sockets and read the help menu and it shall guide you through. every card and every computer is different but the sockets should be the same. so it's kinda hard to explain here in details.
