Vasomotor Rhinitis from chemical irritants?

Due to months of overexposure in the workplace from the chemicals contained in air fresheners and a candle (synergism), I was diagnosed with Vasomotor Rhinitis that damaged the blood vessels in the interior and exterior of my nose which then led to the progression of Rosacea. I was forced to resign from my job because they would not move me to another office away from these chemicals. I did not have any reaction in any other office in that building. They performed a RAST test which showed no known allergens. The allergist prescribed Nasonex for the Rhinitis and Metrogel for the Rosacea which does seem to help for everything but my eyes. Now whenever I go in to any building that has sprayed anything, or if I get around any air freshener or candles, my eyes immediately get inflamed and start burning. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anything else I can use for my eyes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have also tried the Similasan allergy relief eye drops which do temporarily take away the pain but I would like to find something else that would totally clear up the conjunctivitis. Living in constant pain causes serious fatigue and I don't even have the energy to play with my grandchild when they come over. Thanks and if you have any other brand of eye drops that you believe would work better, please let me know.

The OTC ones have always worked for me but ask your doctor for a scrip one. If it's truly conjuntivitis, you really need one.

The environmental allergist also has on his assessment that I have conjunctivitis, Rosacea, in addition to his diagnosis of Vasomotor Rhinitis and Rosacea. I don't know if he meant Ocular Rosacea instead of conjunctivitis, Rosacea. I had to see a physician 8 times within a 2 month time span because every time I stepped in to my office, I had an allergic reaction and they had listed on their diagnosis that in addition to allergic reaction, they also listed conjunctivitis. Some days the allergic reaction was mild enough that, even though I was in pain, I could tolerate it enough to stay at work because I had to, to try and get caught up with my work. My co-worker wanted me out of that office and she found the perfect way to get me out. In fact, I thought about writing an article about it and have it entitled, "Synthetic Fragrance - The Perfect Crime!" Just kidding! Thank you for your information. I don't know whether or not to see an eye doctor or a dermatologist?

I think I would see an eye doctor in that case...if the allergist is not inclined to give you some drops. Mine does so am somewhat surprised yours didn't...or maybe you need to say the meRAB aren't working, are there drops that would be better, etc...
Whichever you think would work...
