Vanity Fair - new version from Mira Nair

The new version of Vanity Fair starring Reese Witherspoon and a large British cast has just been released in the States. However the word is that we in the UK have to wait until January 2005 to see the movie.
Ridiculous if true.
 
That sort of delay isn't anything unusual though really, and it is only a few months away. It could be a lot worse.

Hellboy is only just coming out here but it was out in the US in January. There was about a year between the US release of Donnie Darko here and in the US.

That's just the tip of the iceburg.

The Vanity Fair trailer does look good though ( not my cup of tea but still enjoyable ).
 
Yes but most major countries on the Continent will be getting it long before us. It's an American financed British movie.
