Vanilla Sky just made me cry

I don't know why - didn't seem that sad but it did make me cry.

I haven't cried in ages.

Is it just me this film touched? I thought it was pretty good but I don't remember it being too successful.

It didn't actually make me cry, I think the last film that made me cry was Spirited Away :o , but I did think it was wonderful.

I remember hearing a bit about it when it came out, but never saw it. I guess it's one of those things that you can't talk about too much or it will give too much away, and maybe that's why it didn't get so much publicity?

I'm really glad I watched it, anyway. I taped the Spanish version "Open your eyes" last night, so I'm looking forward to watching that tomorrow to see how different it is.

Ooer! I thought that it was devoid of all emotion!! That was one of my main problems with it: I never felt a deep connection with any of the pretentious characters to really care about their plight!

Then again, I am a big masculine man so I don't cry ever - I just hit people with my muscles, drink beer and smell :) ;) :D

I watched it for the first time last night and it was horrid.

His face made me really uncomfortable and a lot of the film was so confusing. I thought it was going to be about Cameron Diaz being a stalker and it just turned out to be the Matrix in disguise.

I really didn't like it.

I can't believe I missed Open Your Eyes. I love Vanilla Sky, but I've never seen the original. I've heard nothing but good things about it though.

I cried because it was so bad.

Did they think we were SO stupid they had to explain everything?

I cried at Requiem for a Dream I watched on dvd beforehand.

I taped Vanilla sky and just watched it today; I agree with damndirtyape, I really didn't care about the characters. I wanted to feel something - anything, but, there was just nothing there. There was no crucial earth shattering scene and my numbness toward the film wasn't helped by the Lucid dream storyline. When it ended, I just thought 'whatever' and turned my video off. :(

I totally agree with cybergirl. Personally I thought the film was awful, what really let it down was the terrible ending. So glad i didn't pay to see it!

hey guys u know at the end when tom cruise is falling down the buliding. what music was playing on the background i liked it?

Vanilla Sky is the one to watch for the opening sequence, ala running through empty streets, to me Vanilla Sky did that best of all, but overall Open Your Eyes is the one to see, fabulous original. Remake was pointless, like most remakes.

I'd have to watch Sky again to hear the music, don't know now.
