Vance and Hines Straight Shots

I am thinking about changing my stock pipes out with the Vance and Hines Straight Shots. Does anyone have these installed already and have advice? I have a C50 with original pipes that have the baffles out. Will I need to buy a computer to adjust my fuel and stuff? View attachment 11262

I but V&H straight shots on my 06 C50T...Easy as can be to do, and took absolutely no time at all to do...I put in a Cobra 2000r fuel processor at the sametime and a K&N air filter...Took a little getting used to visually going from the large fat stock pipes to skinny pipes but I love them now...Add some hot tips to dress them up a little...Nice deep sound to them...I've ready some postings from riders that find them to loud...See if you can find someone in your area that has them, so you can hear them before purchasing...

I put them on my M50 (same engine), I didn't have to add the fuel processor. I liked them, but i replaced the baffles with thunder monsters

I am very happy with my straight shots. I put on a PC III with a K&N and picked up torque and HP. Great sound, the only down side is I have lost 2 to 4 miles per gallon but that may be due to the added ethanol in my gas.

I also have a C50SE and I put HardKrome 2 1/2 inch DD's on mine over the winter, I did not have to map or anything just put them on and go. :bluethum:They are loud and I actually got an increase in HP.

That helped me also. I just ordered me a pair of straight shots, and a power commander III. Keep the rubber on the ground!:301:

You need to buy a fuel processor if you change the air filter or air intake. If you make those changes it will make your engine run leaner, thats where the fuel processor will be needed to richen up the mixture.
