I'm really looking forward to this. Love Hugh & Kate, so it looks like it's going to have a great cast.

i think it might be the dubbing. in the German trailer it was a little off. the lip syncing wasn't 100% and i think it might be like that in the German-dubbed version of the movie.

van helsing aka hugh jackman is on the cover of ew. they're some pretty amazing pics inside.
 
I agree. Anna is really pretty and Carl was funny too :D. I wish I had some wallpapers for my desktop.
 
I didn't care for the Hyde in LXG either. I think that they need to go back to make up for things like that. Gollum is the exception, not the rule, IMO.
 
he looked similar to the Hyde in LXG. but i think the Hyde in VH was way better. but they r both good IMO.
 
It's really strange...so many German reviews seem to not like the movie, but others do...

I mean yes, the movie is sometimes a bit fast. But I even read German reviews where they say that the movie was absurd and all...they all don't know what a good movie is. Maybe it's the dubbing? Hugh's real voice is so much better.
 
Yes, it is. I think they might be playing an angle where this is a "prequel" of sorts to the story of Dracula we know and love.
I really wonder why there is no mention of Van Helsing in the Buffy series since they did have Dracula. I think that a fan fiction team-up of Buffy and the Hugh Jackman Van Helsing would be great.

I love Van Helsing! Awesome movie... SO sad Anna dies. I was really pissed... but ye. The drama. Anna is my favourite character... she's so beautiful, strong and brave! Carl is so funny! Van Helsing rocks. My desktop is Van Helsing, hehe...

I just noticed something:
It is GABRIEL VAN HELSING... not ABRAHAM VAN HELSING.
