Valley of the Muses 40.5 (Aragorn/Arwen LOTR): Board Closing, But Muses Are Eternal!

Rewatched a little bit of TTT the other night. Saw the "Then it is a good dream" flasrabroadack, the one where Aragorn admits he's unsure of his path and Arwen reassures him. Love how she tells him that if he trusts nothing else in the world, to trust in them, their love for each other. She has such faith in him, and in them as a couple. :love:
 
if there's a list can i be added please i just recently watched fellowship of the ring again and fell in love with them again i love their scene on the bridge arwen is so in love with aragorn (and i must say so am i a bit hehe) that she gave up her life with her people it was so romantic
 
So, I read a bit more of those "History of the Lord of the Rings" books. Not a whole lot about Arwen yet, but then, it hasn't covered the writing of the appendixes (appendixi? how would you spell that? :lol: ).
 
So, speaking of the extended editions, I liked how Arwen reacted to Aragorn trying to break up with her, the whole "It was just a dream" thing. She was so confused at first, but once she realized what he was doing, she simply refused to back down, firmly telling him that he should keep the evenstar. Arwen made it very clear that no matter what Aragorn said, no matter that he thought he was doing the right thing by getting her to leave Middle Earth, she was going to keep on loving him. As she said in the first movie, her heart (like the evenstar necklace) was hers to give as she chose.

Currently I'm reading a bunch of fanfic about Arwen and Aragorn. :sigh: It's feeding my obsession, since we no longer have the LoTR board. Thankfully we have this thread, though...no matter how empty it may get. :pout: I started reading fic because I've finally started to edit mine that I've written, so I've been spending a lot of time on there. :lol: There are so many good A/A fics out there, it's unbelievable. :D I think we had some in the OP, but I'm not sure...
