I lost the remote to my Valet brand remote starter. The guy at the audio place wanted to charge me $80 to get the numbers off the base for me so I can get another remote programmed. He said it was for the labor of getting to it under the hood somewhere near and below the windshield. Can someone tell me where these things are usually installed, so I can just do it myself and save a few bucks? Appreciate it.
