vaginal pimple

My daughter came to me with concern because she has found a large white pimple on her vagina. Of course, the first fear is that of herpes. I really do not know anything about the disease, but that people get outbreaks and they look like pimples. She is 17 and has not been sexually active, but a boy that she kissed has been. Ok, if she only kissed him then she wouldn't break out in genital area if she was exposed, if she engaged in oral sex with someone who has the virus it can be passed that way or by intercouse.. Herpes is passed by skin to skin contact so if it is Herpes she would have to have come into contact with a part of his body that was infected in order to contract this Virus. Herpes can be passed when no symptoms are present so he doesn't have to be active to pass it... My advice would be to take her to the doctor and have it cultured to be safe.. I am not saying your daugther isn't be up front and honest but sometimes teenagers are ashamed of what they did and don't want US as parents to be dissappointed in them, so maybe you are not getting the whole story. I would def talk to her some more and take her to get checked... Take Care.
