Anyone else seen this film?
Its a 15 cert and it scared me much more than tons of 18 cert films. (in a good way) watched it in Blu ray and loved it

I thought it was pretty good.

Frank Whaley was marvellously sleazy as the motel owner.

Although the happy ending strained credibility to the limit.

It's a very good genre film imo. Not too long, doesn't take itself too seriously, 2 good performances from Kate Beckinsale and Luke Wilson. Does exactly what it should and no more. Watched it at the cinema and have the Blu Ray at home ready to watch.

I felt it was very "nuts & bolts"; you could definitely tell the screenplay was a little creaky and, naturally, full of clich

32 million worldwide is pretty dire though isn't it. Yes it made it's money back but no-one went to see it!

Horror films are judged by different financial standarRAB to other movies in sequel terms.

The law of diminishing returns doesn't really apply as they're relatively cheap to make.

He was alive when his wife ran to him at the end and she called the ambulance and police.

It's amazing how the events of the film struck home with so many people. On the IMDb there's a thread on the discussion board where people have recounted their own experiences and some of them are really creepy.
