v6 or v8 toyota 4runner? Help?!?

I am ready to buy a 06 4runner sport and have seen a v8 version that is calling my name (color and looks are what i want), i don't tow anything but was wondering would i regret getting the bigger v8 over a v6?? Ive read some places the mpg is similar and some places the mpg is very different?? Thoughts? I would use it for city/highway driving and shopping and driving my kids around, maybe some offloading now and again, but probably not any towing. HELP? Should i wait for a v6 or grab this one?
 
I'd lock-on to the benefits of a lighter,sounder V-6 drivetrain. The suspension is better equiped to take a harder beating. The entire formula has a better outcome.
 
many complaints about poor fuel economy in the V8 powered 4Runner and Tundra. The power difference is not significant in normal driving. The V8 was really designed for people who tow things like boats and trailers.
In my opinion go for the greener V6.
 
mpg is similar on both, your driving habbits depent on the actual numbers, id get the V8, just to have the extra power
