V3m Flashed from VZW wont activate

Hey guys I'm looking for a little advice. I got a prepaid v3m for verizon and flashed it with the alltel monster flash followed all the instructions (so I think). The problem is when I fo the *228 I keep getting an unable to activate message. I called Cricket and switched the ESN and then switched it back when it did not work. Can anyone help me out with what to check? I've already searched and so far I can't find anything. Thanks for any help you guys can be helping a new guy out in advance.

call cricket, switch to the razr esn again, have them walk you thru a manual program.
if thats sucessful, make a test call and see if it worked.
if so, then try OTA again
 
I think I'll just ride out to the corporate store and see if they can activate it. I guess I should make sure MMS works as that seems to be an issue. Will cricket activate on altell firmware?

Going to a store is a waste of your time (Almost for sure) as they aren't going to be able to do anything in regarRAB to activation that you can't yourself.
 
I am trying to figure out how to do a manual activation can anyone help? I am searching for it right now. I am wanting to avoid calling cricket back and getting locked out if possible *22804 gets me on american roaming if that matters. Something in my PRL? I am in the Louisville market. Does it matter if I am on the rate plan with roaming?
