Im on T-Mobile in the UK and due a free upgrade to my current phone the D500. I dont really use my phone for anything spectacular. I send about 700 texts a month and about 400 mintues and about 5 picture messages, I use my iPod for Music etc and PSP for games so really just want a phone I can put an MP3 ringtone on with excellent text messaging and bluetooth for my headset. I dont really like the D600 due to the screensaver issue but know I could get used to it. Maybe a alarm every now and again may be used to nothing out of the ordinary really. Text messaging is main thing, D500 has 1.3 megapixel camera and that is fine for my needs.

Which one should I head towards? I must admit to leaning towards the V3i but totally open to suggestions as the contract I will sign will be an 18 month one. Thanks again.

All of your phones have some quirk or another... but I do have one for yea.

N70 - some people here have said the battery cover make noises everytime you press a key.
W800 - isn't really bad but the orange may put some people off.
D600 - the model is getting old and the camera isn't as good as it can be.

That will leave it to V3i. The only draw back is the feedback of the keys small travel distance. I am ok with that and the keys are fair big. So I think you should get the V3i.

Get the n70.... Now if u live in canada i think u use 850mhz band.... the v3i as far as reception because i think its quadband but motorola makes horrid products. The n70 is the best overall phone out right now

are those your only options? if so i guess go for the D600 or W800. the 800 does have a better camera but the D600 has a bigger display and is a slider. however, you're probably tired of the slider you have now so the W800 is probably your best bet.

I played with the N70 today. I may pick it up in a couple of days!

edit:I mention the problem above about the battery cover is not there.. its very solid. Very professional looking.

Sorry guys, I have went for the V3i, its at home charging and will play with it when I get home tonight. Just thought it fitted my needs best but the W800 came close but dont like white and orange phones.
