theres a few ways around that.
1. if you are currently WITH cricket, as in you have an account and you are paying monthly for it, you just want to use the razr instead of the phone you have, just call 1800cricket, and tell them you bought a new phone and you'd like to use that one instead.
say you bought it from them, or they become stupid and make you pay an activation fee. and they'll change the esn and have you dial *228 after some manual programming. and shazam it works.
2. if you aren't with cricket, open up pst (the blue icon one that says pst in white letters) and then open up PST Phone Programmer or whatever icon has the 6 different colored squares on it, and go file//open//CDMA PRL and find the prl you have. sometimes you might have to rename the file to .rla instead of prl depending on whether or not you can see the file in the open screen.
annddd thats all i can say right now, if you run into any other problems ill try to help you out. i just flashed my verizon v3c to cricket a few weeks ago and had no problem. i just read up on guides and stuff about it and fell in love. haha
3. EDIT: if you are trying to flash the phone, dont use PST. use the program that is located in the pst folder (motorola i believe) that is called MultiFlashFlex, it has the gold motorola syrabol for an icon. that works the best. and its easy to use
