V-Twin vs I4

You would call those people posers If I didn't compare the two. Evo is better, more reliable faster and more practical. Only reason to get the ferrari is to be a D bag with it. It does NOTHING better other than get people to look at how much money you spent.

DTM,

This is a very old, and frankly, boring debate. It's basically analogous to arguing that a GSXR is better than a 1098 'cause it's faster or more powerful or more whatever, blah, blah, blah.

Performance numbers notwithstanding, surely you can appreciate the fact that there is a certain esthetic to a Ferrari that is lacking in a Mitsubishi. And by, "esthetic," I'm not talking about, "poser appeal," but rather, about build quality, body lines, and design features. I get it that these things aren't important to you. But that doesn't prove a Mitsubishi Evo, (whatever the Hell that is, to be honest, I don't know and I don't care), is better than a Ferrari; it only proves you have no taste.

Faster? No
Floating lifters doesn't make it more reliable.
Better? Hardly
Practical? Yes, but who the hell buys a Ferrari to be practical.

Now if you are talking modding, that's apples to oranges. Now if you are going to toot the horn for the Evo, why do you drive a BMW? As far as your Evo being slower than you elise, that's kind of funny because my evo beat the crap outta my Exige S, but that's a different story.
In F1 which would be the Moto GP of the automobile world, Ferrari beats the hell out of all the other manufacturer's time and time again. Now you are going to argue that a million dollar F1 car isn't the same thing but then again, a 400hp Evo isn't exactly stock either. Next you will say well an Evo is only 40 grand. Then I will say that you can't build a 40k Ferrari because the materials cost more than that etc. Then you will because you can make more power cheaper makes it a better car, then I will say why not just get a shifter cart. It's faster, cheaper, and "more reliable." Long story short, you keep changing the situation and therefore you arguement isn't valid. Do I ride a twin? Yes. Do I ride an IL4? Yes. Do I drive a Ferrari? Nope. Would I want a Ferrari? Nope. So I would consider my opinion unbiased. I am a BMW guy all the way and always will be. Do I feel our products are the best? Hell no but a car to some is more than just numbers. To me it's about the heritage.
