 I always feel bad for American's trying to do British accents
mine is really bad. my sis tells me to shut it.
Nat's was a lot better than mine ;)

i just saw this movie last night and thought it was really good. Natalie did a really great job and i give her all the credit for shaving her head. Not many actresses now a days would do that, being all obbessed with their looks like they are.

Anjinator - Same here. It's usually the other way around. The movie was so much more powerful/moving to me because of certain scenes. I did enjoy the novel though.

The comic was written in 82/83 I believe.

She was 16, I don't think it was younger. I will have to check again when it was written.

sounds like i would prefer the movie too.

why is the comic so different? when was it written?
How much younger was Evey? she looked about mid 20 in the movie.

They said it when the Chancellor banned it but I forgot the name

Oh the song "Black Velvet" by Alannah Myles would work for a video
the whole line 'a new religion that will bring them to their knees"

I'll come up with more....

I liked POTO the movie but I was thinking more of the book. Not the original novel, the one by Susan Kay. Phantom
That goes into the Phantom's whole life and background and it was the chapters with Christine that when I was watching V and Evie I thought of that book.

anyway enough of my rambling...

I agree. And it's one of the qualities of this film, actually. It didn't mitigate its message with a cheesy romantic storyline. Romance and politics are instead correlated and make the movie even more challenging and thought-provoking.

Heh...thanks. I got it from the new VFV icons LJ. You can visit and join yourselves here. :)
