V Cast Driver

Now when i plug my 9800 in it asks for a V Cast Mobile Phone Driver. I dont have the disc or anything i just use bitpimp and i can not get around this dumb driver error. Any Fixes on this or is this a new things going on. thanks

Call Verizon. It's a simple fix. You can download the driver from Verizonwireless.com. I had to download the driver to get BitPim to recognize my phone.

actually not a simple fix. I called and was on the phone with them for 40 minutes and they had no answer for me. i Did however fix the issue by switching the phone to Mp3 and not anything to do with MOD. After that it works fine. However i did look for the driver and it was no where to be found. I was tol i have to buy the Package with the disc in order for it to work.

Ok. You can still do the same things with just the MP3 player, you don't need the music package. I think it sucks and it's just another way for verizon to get more money from you. I do not use it all. Don't use the MOD mode at all. Now that I looked into the matter a little, the driver I had to install was the LG USB Driver, not the music package. What are you trying to do? Just download MP3s and make ringers? By the way, V Cast Music does not play MP3s, only Audio files. So it really sucks. I went through this when I had my software upgraded and the phone was set to MOD mode. Of course, Verizon did not tell me how to set it back to MP3. They told me the phone will no longer recognize MP3 files!

Can i ask how you do that(as in how do you make it Mp3) and does it matter if its vista?
