UVA/UVB Mercury Vapor Bulbs...?

I'm thinking of getting one for my Bearded Dragon. I have him in a 40 gallon Breeder tank, he is 20 inches, and 3 years old.

Are they really a lot better than having separate basking and UVB sources?

Tell me some pros and cons of getting a Mercury Vapor Bulb. Good? Bad? Tell me what you know!

It it doesn't really make much of a difference.

Pro's:
*UVA/UVB can save you money so you dont have to buy two seperate fixtures
