USQ in Education City, Brisbane (Springfield) Vs Toowoomba?

I'm am moving away next year and was wondering whether anyone could tell me which is the better campus to move to - ideally the better campus, for me, would have regular, reliable transport and good facilities. I have heard that Springfield in Brisbane is in the middle of nowhere and not very safe to live in. Could anyone please clarify for me which campus/city is the better one?
 
The Springfield campus is at the new Education City being developed there and is rather new. I have not heard of any safety issues nor have I heard of it providing an inferior education in any way. That said a good friend of mine attended the Toowomba campus and was very happy with it. So on balance, due to the newness of Springfield, I would tend to go to Toowomba.
