your not.
You are seeing boot Marines who just got to the fleet or their MOS schools trying to act like Drill Instructors..

I can guarantee it was not a recruit in the video acting like a drill instructor.
If you are positive it is at boot camp then it is probably a Drill Instructor who is not wearing his campaign cover.
During the crucible DI's wear a normal cover

They have that right because they are appointed as squad leaders and they always have to show that they are ready and willing to take on a leader role. Also they have to make an example of their squadmates from time to time to help them be perfect at what they are doing... There is no room for mistakes in the USMC.. 1 mistake could get you killed. But not every squad leader doesnt get chewed out in reality alot of them do

in some videos i see recruits yelling at other recruits and giving orders to them like the DIs. how do they get the right to do that? not saying there is anything wrong with it im just wondering how they dont get their ass chewed by the DIs
uh, no buddy i am 100% sure it was boot camp. i own the dvd ears open eyeballs click. good posibility but it was boot camp.

The guide yells at you and so do your squad leaders.

That is their job, they delegate authority.

Sometimes they go a bit overboard and this creates friction, but at the end of the day they are just doing what is expected of them.

I saw that documentary also and it is recruits who are yelling at each other.
