Using an AT&T sim card with any AT&T cell phone?

I am already a customer with a family plan with AT&T. I recently sent my cell through the washing machine on accident. The sim card still works, I have it in my mothers phone right now.
 
Yes, you can use it in any AT&T phone or any unlocked GSM phone that supports the 850MHz and 1900MHz bands (for 2G/3G).
 
I don't understand the question? If your using your sim card in your Mothers phone right now then why are you asking the question about doing so?

I probably just don't understand something. In any case its just like what Aurakles said.
 
You can buy any unlocked phone that AT&T supports and simply put the sim card in. I would suggest buying a phone online because buying it from the AT&T store will be more expensive and they may try to get you to buy a new service plan.
