I let my motorcycle sit for over a month, and now when I try to adjust the choke, it either revs too high, or dies. Also, when I roll the throttle on, it will die unless I let off.
I suspect its gunk in the carburetor. I'm wondering if using a fuel additive like 'Gumout Fuel Injector & Carburetor Cleaner ' will be enough to fix the problem, or will I need to have some one take the carbs out and thoroughly clean them?
--------
Added question:
I don't have much experience working on bikes, or cars for that matter. Is the Carb Spray something that can be used without taking the bike apart? Would I be able to figure it out, or would I be better off having a profesional work on it?
