Using 6275i as modem

Ok. Thank you. I was looking there yesterday but didnt know which one it was. There are a couple with modem in the name.. One is: "plug and play feature for phone modem(INF file) driver" but thats probably not it. I guess i will wait til tomorrow then

I found the setting (it was hidden :(). The phone dials and connects, on the screen it displays graphs for data being both sent and recieved (green and blue). However, it doesn't seem to be properly connected. I have tried pinging remote machines (initial example would be google.com). The DNS resolves to an IP but all actual ping requests time out. With the case mentioned above, Internet Explorer and FireFox don't seem to do much either. Any ideas as to what I might have done wrong?

I have tried a few things:
In the modem settings for the phone I have tried throttling the speed down to 19200b as well as enabling/disabling hardware flow control, error control and compression. In PPP settings I have tried both enabling and disabling various corabinations of options such as LCP extensions, software compression and multi-linking. I have tried security settings on typical (unencrypted) as well as advanced (forcing unencrypted).

You need to set up a Dailup connection right click on the connection go to properties. Click security tab. Check advanced settings. Click the settings button. Click allow these protocols Uncheck everything except unencrypted passworRAB. Click ok click yes. Open you're connection set user name to 10digit#@mycricket.com set password to cricket dial out using #777

try that and see if it works.

Thank you it worked but it keeps timing out while bringing up the cricket home page. So i didnt even try another page. Its connecting at 460.8 kbps. Is there something i need to adjust? Thanks again i was also wondering something. I have opera mini on my phone(thats what im using now the phone browser is Crap) i was wondering if i could use it instead of crickets for this. Just set it to Op mini's instead. I figure i could since i use it on my phone.

I have both IE and FF set and not a darn thing happens. They say cant find page like there is no connection. I tried my cable and bluetooth. Any ideas on what i should do

Make sure you go to your Internet Options and under "Connections" click the dial up connection to your phone then click "Settings". Uncheck "Automatically detect settings" but place a check next to "Use a proxy server for this connection".
Put "wap.mycricket.com" in the address box then "8080" in port. Leave "Bypass proxy server for local addresses" unchecked.

Ok so i found the problem... Some how the proxy reset itself. So i put it back in then checked it every couple hours to see if it did it again. Then this morning when i turned my comp back on it was still set to the cricket proxy. Im using it now... With my cable though bluetooth is a lot slower. Thank you for your help
