Is it possible to make sound/vibra function (ONLY) selectable from the APP, leaving the SMS indicator unselectable? Can someone do it?

Hmm, in my case the patch acts like this....

Checked: Sound+Vibra+visual indicator
Unchecked: only indicator

I'm sorry, you are probably right... I didn't test it correctly (I read patch info ONLY) as my phone number has been switched off today due to the end of my operator contract... I didn't receive any new messages so I couldn't see that the indicator was still there!

Regards!

Actually for testing, you do not need to wait for new message. What you need is having something in the Inbox. Goto Inbox, select Options, and then you will find "Mark as Unread" ... You can mark as many as message you want to be tested. After finish, just go back to the main screen and see the indicator.

Why I can't change FUNCTION 1 (Profile 2).I have USIv3 every times.If I mark or remark function 1 I have USI v3.How off USIv3???

@Radar: Possibly you have patched the wrong APP menu patch. I had same problem and searched half an hour for this...

Warning for wrong patch:
The posted patch Application Menu v3a is a "misposted" version that uses wrong values. Though you can get the right function with additional patching this:
0x27DF20: 6C09 6A09

Now I think all selectable patches which use profile 2 or 3 should work properly.

Hmm... Are sure about that upgrade? When I applied it, patches selectable through Profile 2, function 2 and 3 (Supernet v0.50 in my phone) "moved" to Profile 3! I don't think this is intended, is it?
USI. v3 stayed on its place (Profile 2, function 1).
Strange
IN ADDITION:

@rc-flitzer: I think that Radar's problem is to disable the "whole" USI patch, with SMS indicator also. Maybe I am wrong, but he asked the same question at our Polish forum. But (as I already know):

I've posted my reply there, explaining the problem (in Polish ).

BTW: Thanks for your private message reply!

I didn't check my update, I only know that former posted app3a patch wrote the entries to wrong place in memory, and those two bytes are only difference between the applied patch and another that I found in German forum...

Then he should uninstall the whole patch. I think it's useful to have the remebering sound selectable and not the whole patch, because if you don't like SMS indicator anymore you can deinstall patch. But if you wanna disable all sounds of your phone, you have to deactivate USI sounds, but maybe still want to LOOK at sms indicator.
