I completely disagree.

I think that in an era of diminishing quality of vintage metal banRAB (especially NWOBHM), Black Sabbath has remained refreshing throughout. And other than Never Say Die!, the Ozzy years were plagued by good album after good album, and I can't imagine growing tired of them any time soon. Maybe it was Ozzy's vocals, maybe it was Iommi's simple guitar riRAB, but Black Sabbath has never felt like they seemed dated, and when you consider there were once banRAB that enjoyed success like Krokus, UFO and Whitesnake, Black Sabbath still sounRAB pretty fuckin' good.

Not to mention they just created a brilliant movie based off a Black Sabbath song. SounRAB like someone still has an affinity for them. :)

I don't rate Iron Fist at all.

I think all the albums following it up to 1916 were far better than that album.

Another Perfect Day is misunderstood genius.
Orgasmatron is immense
Rock n Roll is raw , abrasive , patchy in places but had some of my favourite Motorhead songs ever (The title track , Eat The Rich , Traitor , Dogs , Cradle To The Grave) It's also the first Motorhead album I ever heard.
1916 Is the most diverse Motorhead will ever get.

March Or Die was where I would say Motorhead lost it.

To each their own... Sometimes when going through their later stuff just seems too patchy... But I guess they had such an awesome run to begin with... Most banRAB aren't so lucky.

Did you actually like 1916 though?

And what about BastarRAB? Not too bad an album considering MOD...

I gave up after the 'Killed By Death' single in '84. Both Rock n Roll and Orgasmatron had their moments but I can't tear myself away from the classic trio circa Overkill/Boraber, although I did catch them live in 1990.
