USCC V9M on Cricket?

Can anyone tell me if I would be able to activate my disconnected V9M on cricket? The ESN should be cleared from USCC by now. All I need it for would be to talk. No texting or anything, so flashing isn't a big priority for me.

Thanks

lol yes you can activate it. YES you need to flash it, to just be able to text and make calls on it. Yes there is a way to do it. Yes you CAN use the search button. I BELIEVE IN YOU :buddies:

Ive used the search button and Google, there's no reason to be a smart *** about it. I just asked a question. But if you could answer another question. After I flash the phone to Cricket, I should be able to take it to a local store and have them activate it with a plan right? There isn't a USCC logo anywhere on the phone.

Please answer back nicely, I havn't been rude to you.

Cricket doesn't care if it's from another carrier. As long as no money is owed to them on that phone, they don't look or care if money is owed to another carrier.

if you have a US Cellular phone and your in chicago, can you still get it flashed and use it? I heard something about Chicago being a AWS only market so you have to use a AWS phone?

LOL, I was being nice becuase i answered your question that you should have searched for the answer. Because n000bies the answers to your questions are on this forum. you have a username, log in and press search! I dont feel like being nice anymore. The answer to your question is....

The V9M can be fully branded to Cricket service. Search around forums like this one and mobile-files.com. Even type in the model of your phone followed by "on cricket" and that will guide you to the promised land.

Wirelessly posted (HTC PPC-6800: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.11))

People have become so damn rude on here. there is probably a monster flash file that can be found. "everyone" at one point or another had to ask how, even those of you who are now "holier than though" crap like this is why I steer clear od this cricket forum these days. attitudes have changed since I've joined. or maybe people are just more polite over on the gsm side.
