USB HEADSET does not work inside counter strike source`?

my headset works in steam settings shown by this picture

but when im actually inside CSS in the options it does not work/pick up my voice

i tried voice_enable 1, and voice_record k bind

all the right stuff is enabled

ANY HELP this headset works with ventrilo, msn, steam voice chat when im talking to my friends, and all my other games..
