I am buying the Steinberg CI2 audio interface for xmas and was wondering whether, as it has no MIDI inputs, I can just plug in a USB keyboard like the M-Audio Keystation 61es into my USB port and then it would play sounds on Cubase. For instance, if I had a bass VST instrument and played a note on my plugged in keyboard, would it play a bass sound?
Otherwise, is there any way I can somehow plug a MIDI keyboard in my interface as my interface has a line in input?
