Hmm. Well I suppose they deserve them. Why's Maggie have to look so mad, though?

The USPS needs something to get these kids collecting again. I went nuts when the Looney Toons stamps came out, but since then the only ones I've been excited about were the Star Wars and the DC comics stamps.

(Technically, the Star Wars stamps are violating the living person clause and never should have come out in the first place, but only a mailroom manager nerd like me would care.) :D
 
I'm really pleasantly surprised by how funky and cool these look. The characters haven't looked this funny since around 1991! I would've thought they'd just use some stock art of the dull latter-day designs, but these are really nice-looking. They sort of resemble Milton Knight's style, which is definitely a plus in my book.
 
I'm happy that they're old school style. The characters look better that way.

I wonder if they'll be put out with a backplate of artwork. It's been pretty popular to release the stamps with a special background the stamp art fits in to.
 
May 11th. Priority went up back in January. This is a pain because I just now got people to post their own letters at work without running it by me. :rolleyes2::p
