Can someone give me some insights or informations on the strengh and weakness of the CURRENT US military culture?
what i am asking is the strength and weakness of either each branch or as a whole. point out what you can

Cons: hundreds of thousands of U.S. teenagers and young adults trained to kill, used up by the fascist, corporate owned government, sent to their deaths or mutilated and traumatized for life for the benefit of gigantic multinational corporations, then abandoned by the government and society at large to commit suicide or live out their lives babbling and pan handling on the streets. Pros...umm...If the U.S. military kills enough people the survivors will leave us alone? I'll get back to you.

Each branch has its own strengths and weaknesses. It depends on what you want to learn if you enlist, if that is your actual question. Women don't have that many opportunities in the Marines as opposed to the Navy, per say. Women in the Marines need to be very flexible when deployed since once you are overseas and needed to do something you weren't trained for, you learn on the fly. My daughter is a combat photographer that was with the 2/7 out of Camp Pendleton when she was deployed from her 'home base' at Cherry Point, NC. She learned how to become a radio operator as well as a Humvee driver when she was sent to Afghanistan last year so she could go off base and run supplies to the troops on the ground.Hope this helps.

they differ in the branch's and services you cant really stereotype military culture other than we have all been institutionalized ( i had to use spell check on that last word :)

look up institutionalized on wiki and under social political is what i mean by that

ok i will try: there is good friendships formed good life experience
physical fitness is important, The chain of command is important even in the National Guard some people go power mad with rank
its a government job mentality some stand around while others do the work
there are traditions and standards
we all have had the slimier experiences so you can point out the misunderstanding of the military made by civilians like the other answer (POS)

its a job to some its a life to others and some in between
