US Army - 1st and 2nd visits to MEPS?

Back in May I signed the contract and did the physical and all that good stuff. I swore in and everything also. I leave July 29th for Basic Training in Fort Benning Georgia. Now do I go to MEPS or anything again? I was told I must take the oathe in front of family and higher ups and sign the contract "that means everything" that last day before I leave. Is that true? If so, can I add my duty station(s) in there so they are on paper? Thanks!
 
If you have sworn in, have your orders and travel tickets, I don't see why you would have to return to MEPS, unless it is to get processed to get on the plane. They may swear you in again at that point. That was the way it worked for me, at any rate. Had to go to MEPS to get my plane ticket and a ride to the airport.
