us 3g network for tmo to be built by nokia & ericsson

sorry if its a repost....hmmmm, possible nokia 3g smartphones for tmo too?
 
I didn't catch this! I'm glad I was wrong about Nokia picking up T-Mobile USA's 3G! I hope we don't see things like the N75 for it though. Maybe an N95 specifically for T-Mobile???
 
Gotta admit, this is good news for both Nokia and T-mobile, and I guess third for consumers as well. Nokia now has a vested interest in also making phones to utilize this 3G network. Also, T-Mobile customers, in general, it seems are more likely to use data-based services of the sort that will blossom on a 3G network. Yeah, other carriers have their networks up and running first, but if no one joins it (due to lack of phones/features) then it might as well not be there. So far other than Cingular Video (which is getting better) Cingular hasn't offered any very good reasons to get a 3G phone, imo.
