My parents and uncle sprung a suprise "We're coming for dinner" on me and they'll be here in an hour. I happen to have veal and mushrooms in the fridge/freezer. I was thinking of cooking the chopped up veal and mushrooms with onion, garlic and read wine. Then tossing it through some pasta. Do you think this would taste good? I want to make a good impression. Any advise? Salt and pepper are given, but any other seasoning? Herbs? Cooking methods? Thanks a bunch!
