Well I know it's been a while but here's what happened.
I told my mom she asked one of her friends that's a nurse and runs across this all the time.I told her how it happened and what it looked like and how I washed and what I washed it with.So she told me "It's a good thing you washed it so well otherwise it would have gotten infected and you would have to have gone and got your shots for it." That's all I remember of what she said.
It's been about 4 months now since then, the bump is gone my foot isn't sore and I haven't felt sick, Except getting the Stomach Flu :( for a week which I just got over.
I would just like to say thanks for the help.

You need to see a DR. If you have not had a tetnus shot within the last 10 years you will need a booster. Also the doc can irrigate the wound so that it is less likely to get infected.

Good. FYI...the incubation period for tetanus is up to 50 days and the first symptoms are usually a stiff jaw and neck. The bacteria that causes tetanus is a normal bacteria found in soil so that why the worry. Usually rusty objects are outside and exposed to the soil and a puncture wound drives it inside where you can't get it out no matter how well you clean it out. That's why we get shots for it....so in case it gets in we are immune.

Next time tell your folks and get a booster if needed. All you really had to do is ask your mother when you last had a tetanus booster and that would have been it as most kids get them not only as a baby but as a teen prior to entering high school. You could have even called your doctor's office and asked when your last tetanus shot was...it's good for 10 years. You were far more likely to just get an infection but at least you aren't in the hospital in dire straights with tetanus.

My personal opinion, Don't worry. Yes, there is a possibility of tetanus but, i think its remote in your case. There is a myth that rusty nails cause tetanus. its a myth. tetanus is caused by a bacterium. and not rust. additionally, tetanus has to get into your blood to cause a systemic infection usually by a deep puncture wound... so, tetanus has nothing to do with nails or rust. it has to do with a bacteria that is inoculated by a deep puncture.. this is the only association with nails.. and yes bacteria can live where things are moist so this is the association with tetanus.. - but the fact that you dont have a deep puncture means even if by low chance the nail had tetanus you probably werent suffeciently inoculated. i'd give it about 1% mayybe 5% at the most.. and even if you had a tetanus shot more than ten years ago your probably have some protection... maybe after 25 years.. no, but id still think you will be ok..

pls dont worry. but on the other hand , it doesnt hurt to get a booster shot for future ... so it wont be a loss if you get to the dr..

I had my shots when I was 6 so I don't need a booster shot.
My mom found my little health certificate that shows the last time I got my shots and etc.
but any ways iv'e had no symptoms besides my back hurting,But that's just from doing a lot of work because my dad tore a muscle between his Shoulder and his Spine but it happened at work so it's being paid for.
