URGENT! my Ipod touch won't change songs when i shake it or even in games!!?

When i shake my ipod touch, the songs won't change and when i watch videos, and tilt it to the left or right, it just doesn't move. Is there any problem with my ipod touch? And how can i fix it?? !!
Also when i play games it doesnt work as well.. *cries*

ANother thing is: When i pause my song and the sleep sign comes up right?... well a while later, my song just randomly plays on its own. SO WEIRD!

Could jailbreaking my itouch affect anything ?
everything is fine: like the touch screen is perfectly normal, its just the shaking part not working!
 
Try a reset of the ipod...I don't have a touch so look up how to reset it online. If that doesn't work, try a reformat through itunes...and if that doesnt work, call apple
