urgent help needed concerning fish babies?

My fish just had babies and because they were getting eaten, we put them in a litle container. Is that the right thing to do?? And also, after she had the babies, she popped out two yellow balls. Is that like an abortion because she was stressed ?
ANd my last question is, the babies have what look like blood on their bellie. Keep in mind that the mum and dad are actually siblings so is there something wrong with them or is it just from the birth? Please help

Your baby fish are fine, and it's a good thing you seperated them from the adults because they would have been eaten!

Cats are supposed to eat fishies, not fishies.

It's the food pyramid you know.
