I have heard that actors should OBSERVE humans, in order to be more versatile as an actor and truthfully portray characters that are similar and not so similar to the actor.
Yet I am unsure on WHAT I observe of humans, and HOW I do it?
Do I just watch and simply 'observe' or can I also write down notes or draw in a note book so when I am at home I can remember and practice these observations until they become second nature?
