Upper back discomfort after eating...help!?

I was diagnosed with a peptic ulcer a few days ago and have been noticing a dull discomfort within minutes of eating in my upper back between my shoulders. I have a history of acid reflux and GERD and was wondering if this was a complication of that and the ulcer or something else. I don't have any abdominal pains since I have been on Protonix for the ulcer. Any opinions would be appreciated!!
