Upgrading verizon phones early?

Hi we have 9 months left until our contract is up. I really want the droid and was wondering can we upgrade 4 months before the contract is up for the same 2 year contract price? thank you.
 
Verizon will do anything to make a buck so give them a call and ask
or go to a location I'm sure they'll be able to do something for you
phone companies are very flexible with contracts and stuff if your a
loyal customer they most probably will
