Upgrading Question??

I thought the 9242 (unlike the 9200) included an S-video output for TV1. Thus you could feed two SD TVs with different programming, at somewhat higher quality than using the RF modulator output, by using the TV1 S-video output to one and the TV2 composite video to the other. Is that not right?

"Do you guys think there is any chance of being able to buy the 9242 from bell getting the new customer promotion that is just $399 instead of the $599??"

CanadaMan:

I successfully did what you were asking. My 9242 is being installed next Monday. I asked the simple question on the phone and they transfered me to the retention department.

I have ExpressVu, home phone, and internet from Bell. I told the CSR that I was a good customer and should be able to buy the 9242 at the new customer price. I was surprised when she agreed to discount my ExpressVu bill by $300.00 over the year. I didn't have to put up much fuss at all! She wouldn't charge me the lower price on the purchase but I clawed the 300.00 back in programming.
