Upgrading office desktop with home version.

I have only just upgraded from a M515 to a T3 and I love it!
But I have a question.

I have installed the Palm OS5 desktop at home and used this to setup and load my T3.

Now I want to upgrade my office Desktop from v4.0.1 to OS5. The office desktop is the one that I was using to Sync my old M515 and I want to keep my Outlook conduits and I don't want to loose the contacts that I have added to the T3.

Do I just upgrade or do I un-install the v4.0.1 and start 'new'.

I have made a backup of the OS5 home Destop.

:D

You have two issues. The first is that your M515 is syncing to Outlook using Pocket Mirror. If you want to keep using Pocket Mirror, you should install the T3 desktop on top of the older Palm Desktop so you can preserve your PM conduits. The second issue is if you're using the Palm Outllok conduits at home and want to replace the PM conduits at work with the Palm Outlook conduits. If that's the case, you should uninstall the existing desktop before you install the T3 desktop.

Assuming everything you want is on your T3, don't try to install any of the files you have at home on your work computer. Just sync the T3 and the needed files will be synced to your work computer. Trying to copy any files from your home computer to your work computer is likely to do more harm than good.
