I've been looking into upgrading my Jeep Wranglers speakers and stereo for a while now, and I finaly have the cash to do it... I've been looking on Crutchfield.com for all the speakers and decks that fit, but I'm not sure on all the brand names.
Here are the brand names I've been looking at, I will be buying mid priced, around 400-500 for the whole system, so what brand has the best low-mid priced gear?
Heres what I've been looking at.
Alpine (speakers/deck)
Kenwood (speakers/deck)
Infinity (speakers)
Polk (speakers)
Notice I say speakers or speakers/deck... no infinity or polk decks fit in my jeep... for that matter, I'm not sure if they make decks... do they? But, thats kinda beside the point, so, what are your recommendations?
One last thing, is it okay to mix brands between the speakers and deck? Like if I got alpine speakers, would it be okay to get, say, a kenwood deck?
