Upgrading My BMX Bike?

Ok ok i know what your gonna say, its sooo beginner and its sooo crappy

i dont need a lecture, all i need is an answer

I Have a GT Fly 2009 bmx bike, at the moment to me its alright, but i want it to be better

will getting aftermarket parts help make it better?

can you please give me like a list??

or a list of what i should do to it?
 
I haven't rode for years, but I would tell you to check out A.) Danscomp.com and B.) ridebmx.com and check out the pro bike check section.
