I have a Sony Vaio pcv-rx550 and it came with 4X AGP 3D Graphics Hardware Acceleration
(nVIDIA® TNT2 M64) 32 MB Video Memory (SDRAM)
I want to see if it's possible to purchase a newer graphics card with possibly more graphic memory like 64 MB or more but, cannot find if the motherboard will except it. On the specs sheet is says that the Ram is upgradable to 512 MB which it already has, but it does not mention anything about upgrading the Graphics card and what it will support. Don't know if any of you techy's out there know of a quick and easy way to find this answer.
The computer is a spare used for kids computer games and it struggles handing some of the games graphics. I figured if I can get a cheap graphics card, it would be easier than buying a whole new spare kids gaming computer.
Please, keep answers on topic and no advertising.
thanks for the help,
