Upgrading 848 Baffle Kit

What up guys,

I dont normally post on this forum, as much as I try to soak up the wealth of information that can be found here. That being said, I purchased my 2nd Ducati about 1 year ago. I had an 96 900 SS/CR, for about 7 yrs, and last year I bought my new love, "Betty" my 08 / 848.

My wife says I have wine tastes, and beer money. I say oh well that just makes the little bits of wine I purchase taste that much better. And so finally to my question.

I would love to buy a set of full Termi's, or Akro's; havent decided yet. But that might be a few years away. In the mean time I was looking into upgrading the internals of my current stock cans.

Being that I will never claim to be mechanically inclined I'd like to know what you guys think about upgrading my stock cans to the A&R Motorsport Baffle Can upgrade kit.

found here.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Personally, and I did take a look at the link, my opinion is that you get what you pay for.

There is a very good reason Termi's cost what they do, quality. Okay, okay, I know this will cause a rant here but it's hard to argue about the build quality of the slipons. (well, maybe not the ecu) but that's it I swear!

That's a pretty big can o' worms Jules haha. Pedro, if you want to gut your cans, look around on here. I've seen it done using basically the same stuff that comes in the kit, except you spend less money on necessary parts at home depot. Just a thought. Either way, a dremel tool will come in handy if you don't have one.

Also, it will be very, very loud. It will anger the neighbors.

The AR kit is ok but they do not come with enough packing material. I gutted my own, even cutting them down another inch or two and they arent THAT loud. I did use alot of packing and quality internals.
