Upgrade To 4.5 OS

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~ok. Question. I've tried to upgrade 2 times to 4.5 and both times after 2 days my bb went into reset mode. Had to wipe and reinstall 4.2. Could this be because I didn't reformat my media card? I have an 8320 t mobile. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
 
There does seem to be a pattern here with media cards and the 4.5 OS.

Save your stuff off the media card to the PC and try reformatting with the device and the new OS.
 
Ok. Thx for the help. It occured to me after the fact that I had not reformatted my media card. Will take the dive AGAIN tomorrow
 
No memory probs for me! its improved alot..I havent had to do a batt pull since upgrading. It dropped some but never ran out. everything is solid. camera is great!

Successful upgrade, yes!
I'm now running OS 4.5 on my T-Mobile Curve 8320! Breaking the rules is fun, as long as you ask a lot of questions, AND get help from rabroad!

Thanks for everyones replies its good to see other people take the plunge. By the time T-Mobile actually releases it everyone OR many people will already have it!

Jblackfish- did you even attempt to reinstall 4.5 or u just cut the bs and went back to 4.3 w/media manager? Are you able to sync all your media and convert videos for Berry now?

I went back to DM 4.3 but I haven't even had time to play with media manager much. I took a video with the video camera on BB and it works fine. All my existing music plays fine - all my (still) pics are fine including a couple from Snapscreen ap. I'm not aware of any problem but I haven't really used it with DM yet - more time!!!!

If I run across any problem I'll post - maybe someone else has worked over DM 4.3 with OS 4.5.
 
Have had 4.5 for about 5 days now. No problems until today when I noticed my memory seems to be going crazy and it is telling me I need to delete some support languages etc because my memory is running low... Is this the famous memory leak?? I only have JiveTalk and one theme installed on it. Will reverting back to 4.2 fix this or have I gotten myself in deep.... Thanks-Michael
