Upgrade Chrysler 9.25 open to posi?

Okay, after flooding my differential in my '96 Ram B2500 got wet, the pinion bearing needs to be replaced, and I've been quoted $800-$1400 by Bob's Transmission to have it done. If I bought a kit that converts open to posi, would it have the parts I need to convert to posi as well as replace the bad bearings?
 
Go online to a place like fourwheelparts.com or ringpinion.com Search for west coast differentials is another. Look and see What you want and get the differential you want and a install kit that comes with bearings, shims and such that are needed. Most of these places will be happy to talk to you on the phone the double check with your mechanic to make sure he thinks that will be all you need also.
