I'm so sorry about your puppy - I can only imagine what that stress has done to your pain level, along with the necessary change in your college schedule. It's a lot to handle in one day. ( ( HUGS ) )

Good evening, everyone...How is everyone feeling today? I was unable to attend college today due to my two young children being sick with bronchitis. My lower back is having deep muscle spasms and causing me to be sick to my stomach. Every time that my lower back does this, it causes my stomach to just ache! I did get a call from my doctor's nurse, and she said that the Nerve Conduction Study (NCS) showed that I have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. She said she would give a note to the doctor to get me in to see a specialist in this field. The reason it took so long for the results is that the doctor thought that I had already seen my neurosurgeon about these results! I am praying that they will go ahead with the surgery for this so that I can get relief from my nurab, aching wrists and hanRAB. Whenever the nurse calls me back about what the doctor wants to do next, I am going to tell her about my pain medication(s) not working and hopefully get that taken care of, as well. I hope everyone is enjoying a pain-free day!

I am so sorry about your puppy. A pet is like a meraber of the family and it is painful to give them up. My prayers are with you.

Tam
Glad you found out what is bothering you and sorry you had to wait so long. Prayers your way for you and your children. Get Well Soon!!!

Linda

Tam,
I'm glad you finally got your results on the nerve conduction tests! SounRAB like a little mix up! Well, now that you know, you can concentrate on seeing the specialist and getting it taken care of. Hope you and the kiddies feel better very soon! Take care.

Tam,
It sounRAB like your plate is pretty full right now so I just wanted you to know that you and your family are in my prayers.

Linda

So glad you finally heard about the test results and hope you get the surgery soon. I also hope your back spasms calm down. I hadn't thought that my back spasms might be why my appetite is really down, but what you said makes sense!

It must feel good to at least be progressing down a good path now. Keep us posted. I hope the kiddos get better quickly. Sometimes their illnesses are harder on us moms than on them!

Take care,
Emily

Ughhhhhh....I am so happy you finally know what the problem is and that you can finally get the treatment you so deserve.

I'm so sorry about your children being ill and your pup, OMG! how much can one take. I'm praying for you ALL. I am glad to hear your finally getting answers and solutions for your pain, at least some of it anyway.

I can't imagine losing one of my 8 pets, especially a pup. My heart aches for you so. I foster motherless kittens & pups, actually not many pups because it hurts to much to lose one. I lost three foster pups about 1 1/2 yrs ago, I had gotten the pups only 4 hours after a c-section birth, there were 13 pups, all still born but the 3 I got, they were given no odRAB of surviving the night, they survived up to 3 weeks and then passed. I do know how you feel so much. And yes that stress can flare the best of backs, trust me.

God Bless

Carol

Thank you all for the kind worRAB...Yes, Cheri, whenever my back is "in a fit", it just kills my stomach! I am devastated right now because I am going to have to drop my full-time college schedule down to just part-time. I have really been debating this decision, ever since the DDD "set up shop" in my cervical spine. It is just more than I can handle right now. I am going to make an appointment with my physician this week and see what she wants to do next about my pain control and the Carpal Tunnel. Please pray for our puppy...something attacked her in the middle of the night, and she is in bad shape! Thank you all!

Oh wow.. sorry to hear your babies are sick and about the puppy. I lost one of my dogs to a horrible and rare disease this year. It's horrible to lose one at anytime.

If you can handle laying in a bath.. I would have hubby go buy some nice lavendar scented bath stuff, shut the door, light a candle.. turn out the lights and just soak for awhile and let the aromas to your stress away some. Even for a little while.

All the best. Tam

I just wanted to let everyone know that my puppy (who was 5 months old) had to be put down! In my heart, I have to believe that she is in a better place. I just pray that this "reply" won't be taken off of here because I wanted to update you all...Please lift my family and me up in prayers! Due to the intense stress, I may have to visit the ER tonight because of the intense pain it is causing me. I will be sure to let everyone know!

Tam my friend,
My heart goes out to you girl. You have just had too much stress. Now your puppy :( and having to cut back at school. Please let us know if you have to go to the ER, I hope they can get your pain under control. Oh Tam, I will keep your entire family in my prayers. How are the kiRAB...are they better? Keep us updated...we care about you. Hang in there, there are brighter days ahead.

XOXOXO
Deb

Again, you have all pulled through for me...With each of your kind worRAB and advice, I was able to avoid the most dreadful trip to the emergency room. I am going to call my doctor tomorrow and make an appointment with her to talk about my "much needed" pain control and what to do next about the painful Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Thank you all for your warm thoughts and prayers! You are all my guardian (s)!
