Hi everyone,
I hope you all have a good week-end. My youngest daughter is coming home for the week-end and I'm very excited to see her!
Well....only about 5 more days and I should be completely off the Cyrabalta. The first week was pretty intense and I had significant withdrawal symptoms. It has gradually decreased and now the symptoms are more of a nuisance than anything else. Intermittant nausea, a little dizziness here and there, mild buzzing in my head. Nothing major. I'm hoping that the symptoms will not get worse once I am off completely.
The pain...has been fairly bad. I think the Cyrabalta was helping some. I'm just taking more pain meRAB to get me through.
I see the neurologist next week (Wed) and hopefully he can find some meRAB to help more with the nerve pain. I was going to ask him about Topomax. I know some of you have had good results with that.
Good news....bad news....the PT has released me! She feels that she can't help anymore. : ( The right leg continues to show a 25%-50% deficit from the nerve damage despite many months of PT.
I'll update you after I see the neurologist next week.
